ENCYCLOPAEDIAS

Encyclopedias are divided into articles or entries that are often arranged alphabetically by article name and sometimes by thematic categories. Encyclopedia entries are longer and more detailed than those in most dictionaries.

There are many encyclopaedias available online. Some of these are free, and anyone can add entries to the encyclopaedia. Wikipedia is an example of an online encyclopaedia. The information in these encyclopaedias may not be accurate, as in many of these the facts are not checked before they are published.
